Daddy and I went a'huntin' today for steel toed shoes. For his work of course. At one place the salesguys (they weren't really salesmen, they were so layed back. "Salesman" evokes images of a tie and stuff) kept smiling at me and goofing off by throwing the paper that the shoes are stuffed with at each other and then grinning at me. I hope they weren't thinking hentai thoughts. It's rather disturbing 'cuz they could have been in their 30s. Then the oldest, who could be my grandfather, made a sexist remark after daddy said "Yeah, she's wanting to go to Tricounty to look." He's like "Oh. Does she want to go because she's tired of being here, or because she wants to look for shoes for herself?" I looked at him and said "No. I want to go to Suncoast." with a 'don't even THINK of categorizing me with those other shallow girls' kind of voice. >.< Men.
But I'm happy. I got a free dvd in my Newtype as always. This one was Angelic Layer. Laura, won't you be soooo jealous? It's CLAMP! So of course, I'll let you borrow it. :D

Well. What can I say? I get sick. I get well. I get sick. I get well. I get...you got the point right?
Let's see what it was THIS time:
Sinus Infection...Strep...Migraines...Stomach ache. oh my. The USUAL.
NOW let's see what medications they put me on:
Augmenten, Medrol, Codeine, and Mylanta. All this as well as my usual Ibuprofin and Nasacort.
Still can't eat normal. Even thinking of food nauseates me. I felt better last night. Not now.
Dad's off. I didn't get dressed till about 3 today. 'Course I didn't wake up til 11:30. Went with Dad to pick up the Sephia. It was being serviced and we had this AWESOME Optima for a rental. Power everything, cruise control, SILVER pretty...CD PLAYER!!...*sigh* we didn't get to keep it though. That's how it goes. *shrugs*
Dad and I took the Sephia through the car wash. At the end the air drying was Soooooooo loud. I put my head down and covered my ears. It was like what I would imagine an air raid to be. I'm sensitive to noise and light right now. : P Nyah.
On the way home it started raining and there were these people from Seven Hills jogging.
Guess what Dad said.

"WET T-SHIRT CONTEST!"
Oh yes. He said it every time we passed someone jogging, even a guy. Even the guys with out shirts. Still part of the "CONTEST".
My first reaction was to conk dad on the head but then I thought, "now, he's driving. That's not safe." Soooo

*sigh* went to sleep yesterday at 5 in the afternoon. slept till 10. ate. went back to bed. Today. I got my keys stuck in Ben's house. His door and security system have caused me nothing but annoyanceand embarrassment (sp?). *grumbles*
Today went to Pyramid Hill with Laura and Mrs.Pearce. Fun fun. It was very...sculpture-y. Lots of neat abstract ones. The best kind. Lots of ponds and woods too. It'd be so cool to live there.

I had a dizzy spell today at goodwill. I got hot and my head hurt and my stomach hurt. Mom thinks my blood sugar dropped but I'm not diabetic. She says it can happen to anyone. *shrugs* don't know. So we went to the rectory and Gramma gave me some water. Then when we got home mom made me drink some lemonade. I ate mac and cheese and have been in bed watching TV. Now, killing time till Trading Spaces comes on.

I LOVE Johhny Depp. Orlando Bloom was great too but...you know. Daddy said that Johhny Depp based his character on Keith Richards. And it's true! He walked (or rather drunkenly swaggered) like him, talked like him 'cept you could understand him better, and had his same attitude and ability to not die. It was hilarious. I loved the part where the pirate who liked to wear dresses got the fork in his eye and it kept moving...hehehehehe...it was a GREAT movie. Better than Daredevil and Spiderman put together!! We are so buying that one when it comes out.
I really do love Johhny Depp. He's so cool.
